-Am I getting old?-

Was suddenly asked by one of my friends why I'm not blogging recently...hm, must be the new school term getting to me. I've only taught for 2 days this week and already I'm feeling the strain of my voice. Ahhhhhh...I must have rested for too long.

Monday was indeed leisurely as I only had 3 periods due to the ongoing exams for the Sec 3N classes. Decided on a whim to go to Raffles Place where I had a nice cup of tea with my colleagues at Teaspa. The penne arriabata is simply delicious and the spiciness of the sauce is potent! Lavender tea accompanied with blueberry cheesecake is simply divine. It was truly a relaxing afternoon just sitting there and chatting..the evening was similarly enjoyable with a slow stroll to City Hall...as we walked on Cavenagh Bridge my colleague commented that it's the perfect place to propose..Mmmmmm, I agree wholeheartedly. Imagine the skyline of Singapore in the background, walking with your loved one on the bridge, the cool breeze caressing your face, your heart thumping away as you think to yourself: is the moment I have been waiting for? Haha... guess words are indeed inadequate to sum up the feelings. Or am I lingustically challenged?

It's Wednesday tomorrow and strangely I'm looking forward to the weekend where I can just relax and go to church. It's weird but one of my students commented in class today during pastoral care that my favourite hobby must be ushering. Yes the hustle and bustle will make it seem as if the weekend will fly me by but I truly enjoy it though. Haha...Monday will be Sabbath for the coming week instead as it will be a school holiday. Ahhhhh, one of the perks of being a teacher...
